Welsh Assembly Government
Modelmakers has produced three masterplanning models for Welsh Assembly Government. These models were used as marketing tools to promote redevelopment zones in the South Wales area. The projects were won through a competitive tendering process.

Redrow Homes
We have produced over twenty housing models (including complex topographical models) for this major developer, helping them sell off plan in developments across England and South Wales. Rolls Royce
Rolls Royce commissioned Modelmakers to produce a floor plan model of a large new logistics centre they were planning. The model was used for information and training purposes.

Capita
We have produced many different types of architectural models for this major commercial organization, including planning models, school models, hospital models, arts centre models, sectional models, etc.

Atkins Engineers
We have been involved in several projects for which Atkins were the engineers but we were also commissioned directly by them to make some full size mock ups of a new work station design.

Jarvis Projects
Promotional models for PFI bids for schools and hospitals. On one occasion we had to turn round four models of schools in a period of a few weeks.

Centros Miller Ltd
We were commissioned to produce high quality models as part of a submission to win the development contract for a major city centre redevelopment area.

Skanska
Skanska required a hospital site model and a larger scale sectional model for a major redevelopment of a midlands hospital.

HBOS Bank
This international bank commissioned us to make a complex interactive model that demonstrated the networks and functionality of their data handling and storage systems.

Associated British Ports
We have produced several architectural models over the years for ABP including two master plan models for redeveloping disused docklands.

Several County Councils (Cardiff, Devon, Gloucester, Hereford)
Modelmakers has worked for many county councils producing planning models, school models and various redevelopment area models.

University of Wales – School of Architecture
We have produced many research models for the school’s R&D department including wind tunnel models and lighting models.

University of Wales – School of Engineering
The Engineering School commissioned us to design and construct two very large topographical models of river beds to be used for major research projects. The largest was 6m x 4m. They were actually fibre glass models because they had to with stand constant immersion in water.
